Katie McDonald
Vice President, Corporate Communications and Corporate Relations
Katie McDonald is vice president, Corporate Communications and Corporate Relations, at Air Products. She has leadership responsibility for employee communications, executive communications, financial and sustainability communications, media relations, crisis communications, and digital and visual communications globally. She assumed responsibility for Corporate Relations in 2023, focused on strong engagement with and contributions in the company’s operating communities around the world.
Ms. McDonald joined Air Products in 1997 as a media relations specialist for the company’s Industrial Gases Division. In 2002 she was appointed financial communications manager and subsequently expanded her role to include sustainability communications for the company. Ms. McDonald was named manager of employee and sustainability communications in 2009 and director of Corporate Communications in 2016. She was appointed vice president of Corporate Communications in 2016 and Corporate Relations in 2023.
Ms. McDonald holds an M.S. degree in Organizational Communication from Ithaca College and a B.A. degree in English/Communications from DeSales University.
Ms. McDonald serves as president of the Air Products Foundation.
