Air Products’ Freshline® continuous sauce chiller is designed to help meet the increased demand for ready-to-cook preparations, ethnic dishes, products in sauces, and other high-quality products. This unique solution uses the high power of liquid nitrogen for fast and economic cooling of many types of liquids and semiliquids. Products such as sauces, gravies, custards, purees and mixed meal combinations can be chilled right after a hot cooking station to provide significant temperature reduction. This removal of heat from the product is done in-process before entering into the next processing step such as mixing, packaging or refrigeration and can significantly cut cycle times.
